Get comfortable with your logo design
An Englishman’s home is his castle, or so the saying goes. Whilst not everyone’s residence may be as grand as a castle, we all like to think of our homes as a refuge from the madness of the outside world. It is a place where we want to feel comfortable, secure and at peace. Somewhere where we can indulge our personal tastes and create an ambience that pleases us. These feelings that we have about our houses are some things to bear in mind when marketing accessories for the home. You probably do not want to project an aggressive, overly modern image in this area, unless of course your company is pitching itself at the ultra-modern end of the market.
Logo design is one of the ways in which you can present the character of your company to potential clients using a range of different media. The company emblem can appear in many places, such as letterheads, website banners and brochures, to name just a few. Whatever images you use in your artwork may be largely dependent on the particular furnishings that you deal with. As to the choice of colours, you may like to consider those that we find warm and welcoming, such as oranges, deep yellows and reds. If you do not wish to depict the actual products themselves, then perhaps try to think of things that suggest security and safety. Most of us consider our homes as our personal spaces, a place where we are in control.
